Steve Islip

I started clerking Essex Governing Bodies in the mid 1970’s and became a full time clerk working in Basildon and Thurrock in 2002. I currently clerk 15 schools.

Over the last 6 years I have grown my own fully integrated Governing Body information system, based on MS Access. I’m a professional administrator (ICSA) and successfully passed the national BTEC Award for Clerks in 2007.

I represent Thurrock on the ECA but I’m happy to share my skills and knowledge with all Essex Clerks.
